The first ‘Dementia Care Research Summit’, supported by the by Alzheimer’s Society, National Institute of Health Research and the Economic and Social Research Council will take place on 12 February 2020.

The summit will celebrate successes in dementia care research to date, review the current landscape and consider how the research and policy community can drive forward this vital area of research to change the lives of the over 850,000 people living with dementia today and their loved ones.

Two of the Scottish Dementia Research Consortium’s Executive Committee members, Professor Debbie Tolson and Dr Karen Watchman, will be in attendance to discuss not only their own work but also the impact of the SDRC in Scotland.

The event is invitation only, however a live stream will be available. You can sign up for the live stream by clicking here.

We are very much looking forward to following this event and will be live-tweeting on the SDRC Twitter feed. If you don’t follow us already, make sure you do before the 12th of February so you don’t miss anything!
