SDRC Annual Report 2020/21
The SDRC are delighted to announce the launch of the Annual Report 2020/21
This report outlines what research has been ongoing in dementia and brain health research in Scotland in the past 12 months. Of course, it heavily features the impact COVID has had on research, but there are some good news stories featured as well, including showcasing the work of some Early Career Researchers.
In addition, we also provide results on our mapping of the research that has taken place in Scotland in 2020. This includes grant awards, published papers and international collaboration. A summary of the results are as follows:
- We attracted £8 million in research grants
- 497 Scottish-based researchers either contributed to a research paper or had been part of a grant application
- We published 371 papers, more than any other year
- We collaborated with 453 international researchers in 36 countries
