This post will support fMRI imaging research including the design of new studies, support of ongoing studies, paradigm development and optimisation, data analysis and interpretation using Edinburgh Imaging facilities. The post will manage fMRI specific equipment, including dedicated fMRI stimulus presentation and recording devices and fMRI compatible EEG. The post will;
- provide appropriate training of other researchers and staff
- support clinical fMRI including acquisition, timely data processing and analysis for the NHS Lothian Department of Clinical Neurosciences
- participate in and promote fMRI locally within Edinburgh Imaging and related Academic Centres
- Assist researchers in applications for external grant funding for fMRI studies.
The postholder with work with members of Edinburgh Imaging, local UoE researchers and external research imaging groups under the supervision of senior academic and technical staff.
