- SDRC and Cochrane Dementia Covid-19 Rapid Response Fellowship
Cochrane Dementia are looking for an enthusiastic researcher to help with their systematic review work. The successful applicant(s) will work on a review of ‘Accuracy of self-completion questionnaires for diagnosis of dementia’. This review is part of Cochrane dementia’s priority covid-19 response.
We are looking for one or two researchers with an interest in the topic area. Experience of systematic review is desirable but not essential. Tasks during the project would include title searching, data extraction, critical appraisal and report writing. The successful applicant will join an experienced author team who will support the work. Training can be given in any aspect of the project that is needed.
The anticipation is that this would be a full-time project over 6-8 weeks. Part time working is possible. This project is ideally suited to home working.
The review will generate a publication in the Cochrane Database of Systematic reviews. Subject to satisfactory input the successful applicants will be (joint) first authors. There would be opportunity for further Cochrane work if of interest and we would encourage sharing the review at relevant scientific meetings.
Short term financial support may be available, if required, to facilitate this work.
